One advantage about eBay is that it is a trusted online marketplace where many customers are willing to part their money. eBay is a very trustworthy source for both buyers and sellers, so both buyers and sellers have very high confidence when they do business in eBay.

Be A Kung Fu Panda =)

Recently, I went to watch Kungfu Panda the Movie. Since it is a cartoon, it attracted quite a number of children to the movie. During the one and a half hour movie, the whole cinema was filled with laughter, not only from the kids but from the adults as well. This is a very good movie that is worth to watch. A movie that brings you laughter, temporary removes you from your problems and most importantly, there are lessons to learn.

Panda helps his dad selling noodles where there are a lot of customers patronizing the stall. It is his dad’s dream to sell the best noodles to his customers and his dad wants Panda to take over his business. But Panda is not keen in selling noodles. He is very keen in Kungfu. It is always his dream to learn Kungfu and be a Kungfu Master.

By chance, Panda is chosen to be the Dragon Warrior by Master Wu Gui (Turtle). Master ShiFu (Mouse) and his five disciples feel that Panda does not make the mark to be the Dragon Warrior. They always believe that Master Wu Gui makes a wrong decision to choose Panda over the five disciples.

They always make snide remarks saying that Panda does not make it. It is just “by accident” that Panda was the Chosen One. Because of all these negative comments, Panda is disheartened and feel that he does not make the mark too, “I am just a fat panda that does not know Kungfu.”

Seeing that Panda is so unhappy, Master Wu Gui gives a word of advice to Panda.

“Yesterday is History; Tomorrow is Mystery; Today is the Gift. And that is why it is called The Present”. Master Wu Gui tells Panda to forget what others had said and he should not have no confidence in himself being the Chosen One since tomorrow is mystery. What is most important for Panda is train himself up to be the Dragon Warrior – Always believe in himself that he can make it. So with continuous training, Panda gets better and better.

One day, the worst have happened. One of the prisoners – Tai Lung (leopard) escaped from prison wanting to steal the Secret Dragon Scroll. Master ShiFu feels that it is time for Panda to see the Secret Dragon Scroll and learns the techniques so that Panda can protect the animals from Tai Lung and bring peace to the country.

However, when Panda opens the Dragon scroll, it is blank, totally blank. Both Panda and Master ShiFu don’t understand why it is blank. Since it is blank, Panda worries that he can’t win Tai Lung. Sensing his worries, Master ShiFu asks Panda to bring the Dragon scroll with him and leave together with the rest of the animals and he will fight with Tai Lung alone.

When Panda goes back to his dad, his dad is very happy that Panda decided to help him in his noodles stall again. But Panda told his dad that he can’t be a good cook as his dad as he doesn’t have the secret recipe which his dad has. His dad told him that actually his secret recipe is “absolutely nothing”. It is just a common noodles dish. The reason why he has a lot of customers because he believes in himself and it is his dream to serve the best noodles to his customers.

It then dawns on Panda that the Secret Dragon scroll is blank because there is actually no Secret of Kungfu. Panda just needs to believe in himself and fight with Tai Lung and true enough, Panda won.

Tai Lung is very disappointed that he spends so many years training up, just wanting to get the Secret Dragon scroll and he also killed so many animals who stopped him from getting the scroll and yet end of the day, what he is striving for is “absolutely nothing”.

Lessons learnt from this movie is that Tai Lung is a character that commonly represents some of the people in society. Some people use unscrupulous method to get what they want, but end of the day, what they achieved is not what they expect to get and worse still, they actually “hurt” a few others to get what they want. Eventually, they themselves hurt the most.

From Panda, we also learnt not to give up our dreams. We should keep pushing ourselves higher and higher to achieve what we want. Even though through the journey, we may meet some obstacles, but if we believe in ourselves, we will definitely achieve our dreams in the near future.

“Believe in Yourself and Never Give Up Your Dreams. Be the Dragon Warrior of Your Life.”
